Moomoo US supports transferring US stock assets to other brokers via the Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS).
Important: The account registration at the receiving broker generally must match the account registration at Moomoo US. Differences in account ownership or registration may cause the transfer to be rejected or delayed.
You may choose either of the following:
Full Transfer: Transfer all assets in your account that are eligible for transfer through ACATS. Certain assets may not be transferable and may remain in your Moomoo US account or require separate handling.
Partial Transfer: Transfer only the stocks/assets you specify
Moomoo US currently supports transferring out:
Stocks/ETFs (whole shares only)
Options (except for options that expire within 7 business days)
Cash
Moomoo US charges a $100 fee for each ACATS transfer-out request. The fee is the same for both full and partial transfers. This fee will be transferred along with your assets to the receiving broker and deducted from your new account by the receiving broker, subject to the receiving broker’s policies.
ACATS transfer requests must be initiated by the receiving broker. First, confirm that the receiving broker supports ACATS, then submit a transfer in request according to its requirements.
When you submit the request, fill in the following:
Field | Content |
DTC Participating Clearing Member | Futu Clearing Inc. |
DTC Number | 4272 |
Broker Name | Moomoo Financial Inc. |
Contact Email |
You also need to provide your 16-digit Moomoo US account number. Please enter it accurately, or the transfer request may fail.
How to find the account number?
Open the moomoo app and go to: Accounts > All > Account > Statement. Tap any statement. The account number is on the second line at the top.

A standard ACATS transfer generally takes 3–5 business days. The actual time depends on processing times at both brokers.
Full Transfer: Once the transfer-out request is accepted, all open orders will be canceled, and trading in the entire account will be restricted. During the restriction period, you will be unable to buy or sell securities, deposit or withdraw funds, or initiate another account transfer. After the transfer is completed, the account will remain subject to trading restrictions for 180 days.
Partial Transfer: Once the transfer-out request is accepted, all open orders will be canceled. The securities involved in the transfer (including options on those securities) will be restricted from trading, while other assets in the account may continue to be traded normally.
Fractional shares (less than one share) cannot be transferred out via ACATS.
Yes, except for options that expire within 7 business days. Those near-expiry options will stay in the original account and be settled under normal rules at expiry.
Before the assets are actually transferred, you can contact the receiving broker to request cancellation. Once the assets have left the transferring account, the transfer cannot be reversed.
Common reasons for rejection:
Account name mismatch
The cash account has an outstanding balance or a negative balance
The account is restricted or frozen
The account number provided is incorrect
The specified asset does not exist, or the quantity is insufficient
Certain assets may not be eligible for transfer through ACATS or may not be accepted by the receiving broker. These assets may remain in your Moomoo US account and may require separate instructions or handling.
Dividends, cash, or other eligible credits received after your account transfer may be transferred separately to the receiving broker. As a result, additional activity may occur after the initial ACATS transfer is completed.
When filling in the receiving broker’s form, be sure to enter your 16-digit Moomoo US account number. An incorrect number will cause the transfer to fail.
Before the transfer, we recommend keeping a screenshot of your holdings or a monthly statement for verification.
If a corporate action (such as a reverse split or stock split) occurs during the transfer, it may affect how long it takes to complete the transfer.
