Why can't I withdraw or exchange my cash

After selling the stock, the cash obtained needs to wait for the settlement completion before you can withdraw the funds. If the stock you sold is a US or Hong Kong stock, please convert your USD/HKD holdings to AUD before withdrawing the funds after the settlement is completed.

1. Stock Settlement Time

When you sell U.S. stocks on T day, you need to wait for the stock settlement on T+1 day before you can withdraw the funds.

When you sell Hong Kong or Australian stocks on T day, you need to wait for the stock settlement on T+2 day before you can withdraw the funds.

Take selling US stocks as an example:

Monday through Friday are trading days. When you sell a stock on Monday, the funds will be available for withdrawal on Tuesday. Please note that there is a time difference between Australia and the US, so funds for selling US stocks will not be available for withdrawal until Wednesday noon ( AEST ).

When you sell shares on a Thursday, the funds will not be available for withdrawal until Friday. Due to the time difference, funds sold in the US will not be available for withdrawal until the following Monday noon ( AEST ).

2.Exchange

If you are selling US or Hong Kong stocks, you need to convert the funds to AUD after the settlement is completed before you withdraw the funds. Please go through [APP - Account - More - Currency Exchange] to exchange.

Exchange time:

Exchange orders submitted at 09:00 AEST Monday (10:00 DST) - 07:00 Saturday are expected to be exchanged in real-time.

For exchange orders submitted on weekends and holidays, the expected completion time is the next closest exchange opening time. For example, redemption orders submitted on Sunday will be available for redemption on the following Monday at 09:00 AEST (10:00 DST).
