Moomoo partners with LPGA to launch Futu Ladies World Championship in 2027
SYDNEY, Aug. 27, 2026 – Global investment and trading platform Moomoo, alongside its parent company, Nasdaq-listed Futu Holdings, has today announced a landmark multi-year partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) to launch the Futu Ladies World Championship presented by Moomoo.
Under the partnership, Moomoo will serve as presenting sponsor of the Futu Ladies World Championship, to be held annually from 2027 through 2029 at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club. The inaugural edition of this premier event will bring 78 of the world’s leading professional golfers to Hong Kong to compete for a US$3.4 million purse (approximately A$4.7 million), the highest prize money for an LPGA tournament in Asia, setting a new benchmark for women’s professional golf across the region.
The championship is expected to draw the world’s top-ranked golfers, including leading talent from Australia and New Zealand. Hosted within the Asia-Pacific region, the tournament will also provide fans across Australia and New Zealand with prime-time viewing access throughout all days of competition.
With more than 30 million users worldwide, Moomoo continues to grow its global footprint while connecting with the communities it serves. Additional details regarding the Futu Ladies World Championship, including competing players, fan experiences, and programming, will be announced in early 2027.
