Weekly Buzz: Who is the best bet for your money?
1. TSLA - Buzzing Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Musk tweeted last Friday that Tesla could go straight into the lithium mining and refining business on a large scale because lithium is a key component in making batteries. Its cost is already too high. TSLA's stock decreased 5.54% to $1025.490 for the week.
● Mooers comment
@TeslaSmurf :
$Tesla(TSLA.US)$ Lots of haters criticizing Musk for his vision: robotaxis, androids, Ai, rockets, Starlink, Boring tunnels… etc. The power of imagination, the skills and the determination to achieve those visions is what made him the richest man on earth, while the haters still struggle to pay a rent.

2. AMC- Buzzing Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
There was no news specific to the theater operator, but the drop continues the trend lower it has seen over the past week. The shares of AMC fell by 21.72% and closed at $18.240.
● Mooers comment
@LeicesterM : It's All in the Apes' Hands
$AMC Entertainment(AMC.US)$ what really determines AMC's share price movements are simply supply and demand, rather than any business fundamentals. Even now, AMC is in a different momentum than early and mid last year.

5. AAPL - Buzzing Stars:⭐⭐⭐
Regulators may force Apple to reduce the percentage of commissions it charges app developers or force Apple to further open up third-party payments. The shares of AAPL declined 2.42% last week and finally closed at $170.090.
● Mooers comment
@Mario Timberlake :
$Apple(AAPL.US)$ This price action today is hardly surprising. After all, most investors expected to see a more hawkish tone coming from these minutes. And as most investors know, rising interest rates are generally bad news for tech stocks.

A stock split is usually a reason for investors to get excited about a stock. However, since the split was announced, GameStop has been down more than 10%. Its share price closed at $146.190, with a weekly drop of 11.40%.
● Mooers comment
@JulianMackie : Risky bet for short sellers.
For short sellers, $GameStop(GME.US)$ planned stock split would force them to buy additional shares before they return their loaned shares.

8. SNDL - Buzzing Stars:⭐⭐⭐
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the MORE Act. The goal of the legislation is to decriminalize marijuana on a federal level. However, there is virtually zero chance the Senate will pass the bill. Its stock went down 19.99% to $0.560 over the past week.
● Mooers comment
@Ghiox : Just buy and log off.
$SNDL Inc(SNDL.US)$ senate vote will come and news will affect the stock positive or negative but hold strong it’s not gonna be delisted or whatever anyone else is saying. they just obtained a great company who has good fundamentals alone. be greedy during times of fear and sell in times of certainty.

9. NVDA - Buzzing Stars:⭐⭐⭐
While the stock was no doubt caught up in the broader market downdraft, bearish comments by a Wall Street analyst about the state of the industry added further pressure to the share price. The price of NVDA plummeted 13.45% to $231.190 for the week.
● Mooers comment
@BrandonnW : Nvidia Stock Technical Analysis
$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)$ Shares of Nvidia are back below a 272.38 buy point, which they had cleared amid the GTC event. The trendline entry followed a strong rally off early March lows. Nvidia stock remains above the 50-day moving average after retaking that key level in mid March.

  • Milk The Cow : I won't totally follow someone strategy.
    If it works, then maybe...undefined
If work partially, I will improvise their methods undefined.
If does not work = waste my time undefined

Warrant Buffett is the traditional way & it works most of the time + considered more safe.

Elon is kinda like the innovative 💡 way & good for short-term gains undefined. Maybe the fastestundefined, but more risky way...

  • HopeAlways : Warren Buffett's investment strategy is worth following. Many would be surprised at just how uncomplicated the Buffett's investment style is. To put it simply, Buffett invests in great businesses trading for less than their intrinsic values, and then he holds on to these investments for as long as they remain great businesses. Buffett avoids investments he does not know well. That is the main reason we will not find many high-growth technology companies or biotech stocks in Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio. They are not necessarily bad businesses or overvalued, but Buffett knows where his stock-picking strength lies. Just because Buffett avoids a certain industry or sector does not mean that we also have to. We can still invest like Buffett by sticking to what we understand.

  • Syuee : When I invest, I only trust the person that I see, whenever I look into a mirror. There is nobody else that I trust more, to do my investing for me.

Ultimately, you need to trust yourself after you have learned how to trade/invest. The stock market is just like any other business.

When you are in control, you make better decisions. One could achieve a portfolio that truly reflects our own expectations and goals.

We should be confident in making our own investing decisions. undefined

As far as trading/investing stocks are concerned, I do not follow any person.

I believe we must develop and fine tune our own innate senses until we can independently make wiser investment decisions. undefined
