Buffett has once again increased his shareholding in VeriSign.
The latest documents submitted to the SEC in the USA show that Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Buffett, purchased approximately 20,044 shares of VeriSign common stock for about 4.1 million USD between December 31, 2024, and January 3, 2025, with prices ranging from 204.61 USD to 204.94 USD per share. Since mid-December, Berkshire has spent a total of approximately 93.65 million USD to increase its shareholding in VeriSign, currently holding positions exceeding 2.7 billion USD, making it the largest shareholder of VeriSign. Berkshire Hathaway is very familiar with VeriSign, as it had invested over ten years ago.
