Buffett's personal security expenses last year were only slightly more than 310,000 US dollars

According to information publicly disclosed by Berkshire Hathaway last week, the company's personal and home security expenses for Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett in 2023 were $31,3595, down 19% from the 2016 high of $387,881.

From 2016 to 2023, Buffett's security costs averaged around $312,000 per year.

In contrast, Meta co-founder Mark Zuckerberg spent as much as $14 million last year on security, ranking among the largest companies. A security assessment found that the specific threat Zuckerberg faced stemmed from his high-profile role as CEO, chairman, and controlling shareholder.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet, became the highest-paid CEO with an income of 226 million US dollars last year. His personal security allowance was 5.93 million 5084 US dollars.
