What is the Markets tab?
Welcome to moomoo!
In this video, we'll show you how to explore the Markets tab for all-in-one data on global markets and to discover some handy tools to assist your trading.
Under the Markets tab, the first tab is Overview, where you can check indicators reflecting global markets and macroeconomic trends, such as stock indices, index futures, commodities, forex, and bonds.
These indicators can help you better understand market movements and identify potential investment opportunities.
Next up is the US tab, which provides you with US stock market information and a series of useful tools to sort and filter out stocks based on the criteria you select.
For example, Stock Screener with more than 100 filters, allows you to find the stocks that fit your search criteria within seconds.
The Heat Map uses color to visualize data, helping traders get a quick overview of different market sectors and see how stocks perform.
The Earnings Calendar offers timely information about earnings reports and related data of listed companies.
It also allows you to add the dates of upcoming earnings releases directly to your system calendar, enabling you to remain informed about important events and plan your trading strategies accordingly.
Market Monitor allows you to choose symbol filters and unusual activity types. You will receive notifications once unusual activity is detected, helping you to seize potential trading opportunities.
Moving on to Featured Lists, you'll see themed stock rankings, such as those sorted by popularity, dividend size, and increase rate, with real-time updates providing the latest data on the most heated stocks and market movements.
The Industrial Chain gives you an overview of major industries with detailed analysis from upstream to downstream.
Finally, Institutional Tracker tracks famous institutions' holdings, like Berkshire Hathaway among many others.
Let's go back to the top.
Tap Options to view US stock options quotes, including Put/Call Ratio, 0DTE options, volume lists, and unusual activities.
If you're new to options, check our education courses down at the bottom before considering jumping into options trades.
Also, you can tap the three-bar icon in the right corner to view all tabs available, including forex, bonds, and futures. Select to show or hide different asset classes or change their layouts.
