More than 7,000 subscriptions were received through Moomoo’s exclusive pre-listing offer, while investor outreach and education initiatives generated strong engagement
Singapore, 13 October 2026 — Moomoo Singapore, a wealth-tech platform building an intelligent investing ecosystem, today shared that more than 7,000 subscriptions were received through its exclusive pre-listing offer for four Xtrackers UCITS ETFs that began trading on SGX today. The offer, available exclusively on the Moomoo platform with no additional subscription fees, provided investors with early access to SGD-traded ETFs tracking the S&P 500, S&P 500 Equal Weight, Nasdaq-100 and MSCI World indices. The response reflects interest in additional locally traded options for accessing global equity markets and supporting portfolio diversification.
The ETFs are:
Xtrackers S&P 500 UCITS ETF (XUS)
Xtrackers S&P 500 Equal Weight UCITS ETF (EUS)
Xtrackers Nasdaq 100 UCITS ETF (XND)
Xtrackers MSCI World UCITS ETF (XWR)
Moomoo Singapore supported the pre-listing offer with an integrated set of investor-education touchpoints across its digital channels, including educational content, an in-app webinar hosted by Xtrackers, and explanatory materials shared by more than 20 financial content creators and key opinion leaders. These touchpoints were designed to help investors better understand the structure, features and risks of UCITS ETFs, as well as considerations such as index methodology, currency exposure and diversification.
The level of participation across these educational touchpoints suggests that investors value accessible, practical information when considering global investment products. While this engagement is not intended to represent the views of the broader Singapore market, it reinforces the importance of balanced education and clear risk communication as the range of ETFs available to retail investors continues to expand.
“We are heartened by the interest seen during the pre-listing subscription period and the educational outreach that accompanied it,” said Jeyson Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Moomoo Singapore. “The response suggests that investors are looking not only for more ways to access global markets, but also for clear, balanced information to help them understand how different ETFs may fit their own investment objectives and risk tolerance.”
“Products that track similar markets can nevertheless differ in areas such as index methodology, fund domicile, currency exposure, distributions, fees and tax considerations. As the range of ETF products available to Singapore investors continues to grow, investor education and clear risk communication will remain important," Jeyson added.
The four funds are Irish-domiciled UCITS ETFs with DWS Investment S.A as the management company. They trade on SGX in Singapore dollars, with a board lot size of one unit. The funds are accumulating share classes, meaning income received by the funds is reinvested rather than paid out to investors as cash distributions.
Although the ETFs trade in SGD, their underlying exposure is not SGD-hedged. Returns may therefore be affected by foreign-currency movements, including changes in the USD/SGD exchange rate. Tax treatment may also differ depending on an investor’s personal circumstances; investors should consider seeking professional advice where appropriate.
Moomoo Singapore’s participation in the pre-listing offer reflects its ongoing work with market participants to make a broader range of global investment products and supporting educational resources available to investors.
