MooFest 2026, Singapore's largest retail investor gathering of the year, reflects a platform in transition, from retail fintech to full-spectrum wealth-tech.
SINGAPORE, 20 July 2026 — Moomoo Singapore, a holistic wealth-tech platform combining digital investing, physical stores and investor education, concluded MooFest 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre over the weekend, its largest flagship event to date, convening thousands of retail, private wealth and institutional investors as well as partners. At the event, business highlights showed significant growth across its retail, private wealth and institutional businesses, underscoring its expanding role in Singapore's investing landscape.
Private wealth AUM grew by 158% year-on-year and client numbers increased by 149% year-on-year in 2025 (as of Q1 2026), while the platform's institutional footprint now encompasses 40 External Asset Managers (EAMs) in Singapore.
Moomoo AI, launched in June 2025, has also seen adoption and engagement trends that compare favourably with general-purpose AI tools, reflecting the growing appetite among Singapore investors for intelligent, AI-driven investing experiences.
CDP account transfer feature has seen strong early uptake: as of 13 July, nearly 60% of transfer orders had been successfully completed

Held under the theme Now Boarding: Your Investing Upgrade, MooFest 2026 reflected a market in motion, bringing together institutional asset managers, exchange leaders from SGX, HKEX, NASDAQ and CME Group, and senior strategists from leading asset managers and fund houses, alongside thousands of retail and private wealth investors navigating the same questions in real time. The breadth of the gathering was deliberate: as AI reshapes how investors access information and make decisions, and as Singapore's capital markets enter a new phase of development, the conversation about investing is no longer one that can be siloed by audience or asset class.
"MooFest told us something important this year," said Jeyson Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Moomoo Singapore. "Singapore's investors are thinking globally, looking beyond their home market, building diversified portfolios across ASEAN, Greater China, the US and beyond, and that ambition is only growing. At the same time, what they are really seeking is confidence: the tools, the knowledge and the guidance to make better decisions in markets that are moving faster than ever. What gives me the most conviction about what we are building is that investing has never been about technology alone. Behind every portfolio is a person with a goal, and the most important thing we can offer, beyond the platform, beyond the AI, is the assurance that no investor has to figure it out alone. That is what MooFest is for, and it is what Moomoo is built for."
Driving more participation in Singapore's capital markets
Following SGX RegCo's move to facilitate wider adoption of the broker custody model, bringing Singapore in line with international practice, Moomoo is now among the first brokers to make CDP account transfers a reality for investors, making it easier for more Singaporeans to participate in the market. Retail investors who have long held Singapore-listed equities in individual CDP direct accounts can now consolidate those holdings alongside their overseas portfolios in one place, reducing friction, improving portfolio visibility, and lowering the barriers to more active engagement with Singapore's listed companies. Since its launch in late June, the feature has seen strong early uptake: as of 13 July, nearly 60% of transfer orders had been successfully completed, allowing a growing number of Singapore investors to consolidate their holdings and engage more actively in the market.
Bringing AI to every investor
At the same time, artificial intelligence is reshaping investing at a global level, changing how information is accessed, how opportunities are identified, and how decisions are made. Moomoo Singapore was among the early movers, launching Moomoo AI in June 2025 to put an intelligent investing co-pilot directly in the hands of everyday investors. Since then, engagement has grown rapidly and become progressively deeper: what began as a client-facing assistant has evolved into an AI layer across the entire investing journey, from in-app summaries and Expert Mode research to Agent Trading, where clients can formulate and backtest strategies in natural language, with execution kept firmly in their own hands.
More Private Wealth and Institutional Investors Embracing the Moomoo Ecosystem
The scale of MooFest this year also reflects the breadth of investors Moomoo now serves. The event featured a dedicated Private Wealth Lounge, designed exclusively for investors with investible assets of SGD 1 million or above, offering curated access, personalised advisory dialogue, and the same AI-powered tools that power the broader platform.

To help drive the growth of the business, Moomoo has also appointed Elgin Ting as Head of Private Wealth and Institutional. Elgin brings with him close to 30 years of financial services experience across banks, asset managers and brokerages. "It's an exciting time for wealth management. The private wealth investor in Singapore is increasingly choosing digital-first, a shift that would have seemed unlikely just a few years ago, and which is now one of the trends Moomoo has observed amongst its high-net-worth and private wealth clients. I am thrilled to be part of this growth journey with Moomoo as we serve more clients and partners in Singapore," Elgin said.
Beyond private wealth, Moomoo's institutional footprint is also expanding. The platform currently works with 40 External Asset Managers (EAMs) in Singapore, who use Moomoo's platform to manage their end clients' portfolios, from trade execution and custody to portfolio reporting across asset classes. This reflects growing institutional confidence in Moomoo's infrastructure, data capabilities, and the breadth of its product offering, and positions Moomoo as an enabler not just for individual investors, but for the professionals who serve them.
