The list of documents below are accepted as proof of residential address for New Zealand clients. The name and address must match the information you provided in your application form.
You can upload a certified copy of a recent utility bill (issued in the past twelve months) for such services as water, electricity, gas, local council, strata, etc. We do not accept mobile phone bills, rental agreements or internet-service bills for proof of address.

Valid proof of residential address must clearly include your full name, address, the date of issue and issuer.
Valid proof of residential address should be dated within the last 12 months.
Certified documents are photocopies of original identity documents that have been sighted and attested to by a trusted referee with approved wording. Any of the following people can be recognised as a trusted referee in New Zealand:
New Zealand lawyer
NZ chartered accountant
notary public
NZ justice of the peace
sworn member of the police (service may not be available at all police stations so check before visit)
New Zealand embassy or consulate general in a foreign country.
The trusted referee must not be:
related to you (eg cannot be a parent, child, brother, sister, aunt, uncle or cousin)
your spouse or partner
a person who lives at the same address as you
a person involved in the transaction or business requiring the certification.
You can upload a certified copy of a statement or letter issued by a government agency such as the Department of Internal Affairs, Inland Revenue, New Zealand Transport Agency etc.
