        How to close my account

        As per our company policy, if you close your current Account, you will not be able to open a new trading account with us for the next six months from the date of account closure. If you still wish to continue this cancellation process, please ensure that you complete the following steps. 

        1. Ensure that all your stock positions are fully liquidated.

        2. Ensure that your Account assets have a zero balance.

        3. Send an email to support@au.moomoo.com from your registered mailbox with us requesting account cancellation, and include the following information in your e-mail:

        4. Reasons for cancellation:

        5. Please note that you may be eligible for remaining assets if you have ever traded with us, which include, but are not limited to, commission fee refunded, cash coupon rewarded, dividend distributed, etc.**

        * It must be the same as the name you registered when you opened your moomoo trading account.

        **Types of the remaining assets may vary depending on the actual reward and programs or investment activities enjoyed or conducted by each client while using their account.

        ***This account must be held by you and be the same as your legal name.



        To smoothly wrap up the account cancellation, please make sure that the above information has been filled out as required. We will process the account cancellation request within 1 to 3 business days of receiving your email.

        Once your account is closed successfully, we will send an email notifying you of the status of the account closure. The email header will contain the moomoo ID, which you can use as proof of account cancellation.
