How to open an account? (Foreigners residing in Singapore and others)

Want to open an account on moomoo? Just follow these simple steps!

Step 1

Open moomoo app to register. After registering, you can tap on Trade> Get Started to open an account.

Step 2

Tap on Next, and then select Foreigner residing in Singapore or Other.

Step 3

Please prepare: Passport, Emloyment status (if applicable), Proof of valid Singapore address.

Key in your Basic Information, and Upload Passport Photo Page.

Step 4

Key in your Address, and Upload a Proof of Address.

Upload photos or screenshots of one of the following documents: Account Statement (bank statement recommended), Telecommunication Bill/ Utility Bill, Government-Issued Letters.

All documents must contain name of the issuing entity, your legal name, your full residential address, and an issue date within the last 3 months.

Step 5

Confirm your Tax Information, and tell us more about you, including investment experience.

Step 6

To protect yourself from identity theft, please complete facial recognition process.

Step 7

Your application would be submitted, after you acknowledge the Risk Disclosure and submit the Signature.

New accounts are usually approved within the same day but may take 1-3 business days in some cases. We will inform you immediately once your account is approved.
