November's Jobs Growth Was Stronger Than Expected. It's a Setback in Inflation Fight

The U.S. economy created 263,000 jobs in November, the Labor Department reported on Friday, exceeding expectations and showing just how resilient the labor market remains. Economists had expected the U.S. economy gained 200,000 jobs last month.

The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7%, compared with 3.7% in October and the 3.7% consensus call among economists surveyed by FactSet.
