    $Futu Holdings Ltd(FUTU.US)$
    Long term potentials
    1. Online broker in mainland market
    2. More customers in SG and even southeast asia.
    3. Virtual banking license in HK.
    4. More customers in north america.
    5. Wealth Management like Charles Schwab $Charles Schwab(SCHW.US)$
    6. Independent clearing system like $Interactive Brokers(IBKR.US)$
My expectation for Futu is far more than a online broker. It could be a FinTech Giant in a near future.
Futu in 2019 is a baby. Now he is just child. Long way to go

I've generally avoided banks partly because you're at the mercy of what's on their balance sheet and their ability to risk rate appropriately, which for investors can be hard to determine. Furthermore, it's a highly regulated space which hurts profitability. Lastly, Ive worked in banking my whole life and thus want to avoid my income and savings all being tied to the same sector. It's kind of a personal hedge more than anything.
Pot growers because it seems over hyped, it seems like a commodity business with tons of competition, and most companies out there today are penny stocks, OTC/pink slips, and have a lot of dealings with 3rd party entities owned by management.

I don't trust stocks like TLSA because they are just so over hyped/valued even said by the CEO himself. Stocks like TLSA are tricky because they can be a really good company....that makes no money, but since they hold the majority of an industry they gain the evaluation that investors put them as. News coverage is blasting them with articles on how good or bad they are, but in the end it doesn't matter because everyone knows who they are and think that if they are so relevant they must be doing well. Investing in futures can be great, but there are times and places to do so. Evaluation is based off what everyone thinks it is valued at and if everyone is evaluating it on what they hear and don't look themselves then you're not investing in a company, you are investing in the words of random and uneducated blind people. The reason why stocks like TSLA thrive is because its the people that grow the company, this is a topic that economists debate vigorously about still. You could almost say it's like a pyramid scheme, but created by the investors and not the company.

This is a small feature, but I really appreciate how my watchlist will automatically rearrange themselves to show the stocks from active markets at the top of my watchlist. Eg, when the Singapore market is open, my watchlist will display the Singapore stocks first, and now when the US markets are open, it will display the US stocks first. Such a convenient and thoughtful feature, thanks moomoo!

过几天就是 老uncle "21" 大寿。虽然蛋糕便是孩子喜欢的, 一切心情依然还是 thankful with joy and blessed with abundance. The world may have been in many ways impacted by this virus / market but it also brought about valuable lessons for us to recompose ourselves and treasure the little things in life; spare time to value what u maybe missing; health, loved ones & friends.
This year I resonate what 1 of my significant mentors recently shared: Wish everyone continue to stay "Negative" and its ok to "Avoid" good people for now.
(thanks for sparing time with the 💩💩 of 老uncle)
