Why upgrade to the Universal Account?
1. Start owning pieces of companies you admire with fractional shares (Discover more about fractional shares: Fractional Shares Explained).
2. Diversify your investments by trading in different markets (US, HK, CN, and more).
3. Keep an eye on all your investments with a unified portfolio view.
How do I upgrade to the Universal Account?
If you're just joining us, you’ll start with the Universal Account straight away.
For current mooers, you've got two choices: take charge and sign up for an early upgrade through  @Moomoo Buddy in the comment below, or relax and we’ll auto-upgrade you by June (we'll send an email to let you know when it's happening).

Got more questions? We've got answers:
1. Upgraded but can't see the Universal Account? Make sure you're on the latest version of the app. If you are, certain pending activities, like IPOs or fund transfers, could delay your upgrade until next week.
2. Looking to get into fractional shares? You'll need the Universal Account to start trading them.
3. Concerned about trading in different currencies? With the Universal Account, you can trade across currencies with ease.
4. Need to withdraw in a different currency? With a simple conversion and a brief settlement period, you'll have your funds ready to go.
What to expect when upgrading to the moomoo Universal Account:
1. Wait a little longer. Sometimes, we need to press the "pause" button on your upgrade. If you have any pending actions like IPOs, money moving in or out, or other transactions, we'll move your upgrade to the next week. This ensures everything is settled and ready for a smooth transition.
2. You're upgraded! Once you're upgraded, your old single-currency account will take a back seat and show as "Disabled". If you can't spot your new account, it's time to make sure your app is up to date with the latest version. Here's how you can do that:
· For iOS/Android users: Your app version should be at least 14.3.14508.
· For PC users: Make sure you're running at least version 14.3.13008.
· For Mac users: You'll need version 14.2.6008 or higher.
Easy update steps:
Step 1: Check your version.
Open the app, tap on Me, go to Settings, and then select About to see your current version. You'll see a screen like this:

· For Android users, update right from the app by tapping on Settings > About > Update.

After updating, close and reopen the app, then head over to the "Account" tab to see all the details of your Universal Account. If it's still playing hide and seek or if you have other questions, our @Moomoo Buddy is ready to assist.
