$Rail Vision(RVSN.US)$ at this level everybody needs to worry about a notice of delisting which will be coming when the stock breaks a dollar and stays below a dollar for 30 days it meets the point where it would be delisted to the pink sheets and typically what companies would do is they would reverse split it so you would probably see a 5:00 to 1 or 10 to 1 reverse split and shorts will immediately attack a stock like this that does a reverse split so take it for what it's worth I am not short the stock I have never been short to stock I do follow it and all I've seen is it never holds a rally and it sets lower lows so it's not something that I would buy long and hold but that's something you need to understand about listing requirements

  • Raider26 : If that were to happen, a 5 or 10 to 1 reverse split
..let’s say for easy math. Someone held 500 shares and it was a 5 to 1 reverse. They would hold 2500 shares at $.80 or somewhere around there is that right?

Also, if the short attacks would the stock be a lot more volatile hopefully allowing for possible buy down of current average until you finally go green?

  • 10baggerbammOP Raider26: you have it backwards so again let's just assume the stock stays below $1 for 30 days for this example to make it easy math we're going to assume the share price of $1 and you own a thousand shares and the company does a 5 for 1 reverse split you will now post split have 200 shares at a price of $5. the float would be reduced proportionately so whatever the flow to the company is divided by 5. typically and this is a high percentage of time when a company is in a downward slide and there is a reverse split short sellers go right after it because if the fundamentals deteriorated to the point where a notice of delisting was provided there's probably a good indication that not much is going to change with the companies underlying business in the slide would continue because there's less shares in the float it's more volatile and short sellers know it so they slam it and you lose your leverage so whereas before every point that it would go up you would make $1,000 here every point that it goes up you only make 200. and short sellers know that so typically people wind up with tax losses and they dump it at the end of the year which slams the stock even further and that's when the short sellers cover.

  • Raider26 : Hope it runs up at least one more time I’d be happy at break even at this point lol

  • 10baggerbammOP : right now we have a broad-based market sell-off they call it risk off that's why you see gold rallying and treasury yields dropping because money is going to flight to safety typically penny stocks startups are the last ones to run in a rally doesn't mean in a sell-off you're not going to have a low price stock spike it happens because there's tens of thousands of securities that are traded on various exchanges but big money typically goes after the most cash rich profitable companies in a time of crisis or correction. so even though Apple sales are down Apple sitting on what 30 billion dollars in cash they have a billion and a half users they print money every single day through their app store for the sale of their products and people that are Apple customers are like Tesla customers they're never going to buy anything else an Apple customer will never buy an Android. so when the market sells off people are looking to reposition into the best companies that also went down because when it rotates back through the first ones to go up.. so I don't know if rail vision will Spike again it may but I think everybody can see clear as day it doesn't hold any rally
