$Intel(INTC.US)$ why own a company where 50% of their business will not begin to earn a profit for over 3 years . over 3 years it's dead money 50% of the business. they're Fab business is a money pit forget their taxpayer granted factory out of California which will take 4 years to build, globally their foundries are money sucks. if you have to own a company that is transitioning Tesla with Elon Musk at the helm is a far better risk reward than gelsinger who's bowing down to the powers to be in Washington which means he will do everything that they say meaning hire people based off of sexual preference color of skin how they identify themselves and not core competencies skill and ability. Intel might as well come out with a chip called the dei chip. it works at half the speed and you pay twice as much. why not bet on Apple computer they have a far larger customer base a billion and a half people ready to buy a brand new phone the minute a new feature is fully integrated like an AI phone not just a better megapixel camera. Apple will be 220 bucks by the end of this year if they come out with a new phone that wows the users to the extent that they will want to pay $1,500 to $2,000 for a brand new phone. Nvidia is trouncing Intel all of the money that Zuckerberg is spending the reason why meta got smoked is because their capex is going parabolic at a much higher ramp rate than what they previously disclosed or anticipated and that's because he sees far greater opportunity so Nvidia is the clear benefactor not in hell why sit in a dead money stock because that's what this is the market's going to rally and institutions are going to dump on every uptick. I cautioned everybody when it was in 37-38 range telling you to dump this dog shit and now look what you got a massive stock loss another tax loss.

  • KnovistraDerS : Why not bet on both? Intel has been powering our home computers and many of the other devices that we have been using for years!

  • 10baggerbammOP : you're betting on a horse with a broken leg that's Intel. 50% of their business will be a money pit for at least 4 years it's not to say the stock won't go up a little but why be so early to accumulate shares in a company, why invest in a company where the CEO since he has taken the helm and leadership has lost 50% of shareholder equity through his decisions his actions to me that means he's going the wrong way. if I want my brokerage account to go higher in value I'm investing in the market leaders Intel is not a market leader the personal computer industry is not where money is being spent it is a constant but it is not an area of evolution. they are behind the eight ball as a company and if I have to invest in a company that's behind an eight ball that will be Elon Musk in Tesla that will be Apple computer it will not be Intel. another thought Intel is adopting and has adopted DEI, look the problems Boeing has look at the problems Budweiser has look at the problems Disney has look at the problem planet fitness has by adopting dei and since gelsinger is now tied in with the Democratic party because he took all of that money for their chip plant he is going to be the model in California for dei and all I can tell you is companies that adopt dei....the stocks DIE.

  • Ben Buttons 10baggerbammOP: alot of people don't have common sense these days. Alittle common sense goes along way. undefined

  • Money Thrill : I know ... I think it was 2 years ago (? ) they buyed (command ? ) a lithography machine by Asml ? too late and I di not know which ? An older ? Indeed, the foundries are not up to date ? Best leave ...
