$ASE Technology (ASX.US)$ Why Advanced Packaging is the "Invisible" future ... $Amkor Technology (AMKR.US)$ Amkor S-Connect
What Amkor, also ASA, does with S-Connect (and what TSMC does with CoWoS) is basically moving lithography to the enclosure. Instead of making one giant, priceless chip, they cut the chip into smaller, perfectly functioning particles (chiplets) and gl...

$Salesforce (CRM.US)$ has made a great move to buy an existing company with real track record. upon closer look at Fin website, you can see why many would sign up with them.

Money Thrill OP : Move lithography to the housing. Instead of making one giant, priceless chip, they cut the chip into smaller, perfectly functioning particles (chiplets) and glue them back together with nano-precision.
This is why the market often underestimates its value ... ???
Money Thrill OP : what investors and analysts are overlooking ???: they focus blindly on front-end lithography (making smaller and smaller transistors with ASML machines), but the real revolution of the coming years is rapidly shifting to the advanced packaging back-end.
The transition i am referring to - from loose chips to atomic interconnects - is key to keeping Moore's Law alive.
Money Thrill OP : The MEMORY WALL: Even if ASML were to make transistors at 1 nanometer; if the data infrastructure outside those transistors cannot enter and remove the data quickly enough, you have a very expensive sports car that is stuck in traffic jams.
