  • CasualInvestor :

  • 双瞳剪水的斯托达德 : The gold market is one of the largest commodity markets in the world, with a daily trading volume of trillions of dollars.

The gold market includes a spot market and a futures market. The spot market is mainly trading based on physical gold, while the futures market is trading based on gold futures contracts. In the gold market, the main players include international gold merchants, banks, hedge funds, central banks, various legal entities, private investors, and gold futures companies. The global gold market is mainly distributed in the three regions of Europe, Asia, and North America. Europe is represented by the London and Zurich gold markets, and the London Gold Market Association (LBMA for short) mainly refers to the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA for short). This market does not exist in the form of an exchange, but rather an OTC market (OTC, OTC for short). The Zurich gold market has no formal organizational structure; the United Bank of Switzerland Group and Credit Suisse are responsible for settlement and settlement. The major North American Mercantile Exchange (COMEX) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CBOT) are represented.

  • ZnWC : Fundamentally Tesla is more than an EV company, it is also a Tech company. Currently there are 3 main catalysts that is driving Tesla share to new height:
    1. Record Q2 2023 global sales 466,140 vehicles will generate record revenue. Tesla Model Y made record to become best selling EV in the world also showed Tesla's dominance.
    2. Tesla Model Y and Model 3 qualified for full US Tax Incentives USD 7,500 has pushed up demand in US EV market. Tesla remain dominance in US.
    3. Tesla's NACS charger standard has received support from major car industry and EV charge companies. It can use US government fund to build supercharger charging network. This is the 3rd dominance Tesla has on the EV industry as it brought more revenue.

Despite short term trader may say the share price is expensive, Tesla valuation is reasonable because it has a strong and growing momentum. Having said that, note that Tesla is one of the most volatile stock in US stock market. Dyodd if you want short selling the share or timing the market.

  • 104371487 On Paris : Goodnight

  • Milk The Cow :

  • Milk The Cow : I guess Tesla undefined for the "long-term"?
Most EV companies are as good as surrendered 🏳️‍ to Tesla already for using it's super charger as standard.

  • ATMG : yy

  • Kopikarp : I believe $Ford Motor (F.US)$ could be worth considering over $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ . Despite not being a traditional EV ticker, Ford may be a better pick in certain respects. While Tesla's valuation appears disconnected from reality, given misconceptions about its autonomous drive, EV semis, and Superchargers, Ford's primary risk comes from its leverage, which is significant due to its massive financing business - Ford Credit. However, Ford receives interest for this risk it undertakes, which is somewhat akin to a banking model.

While Tesla's balance sheet is less leveraged, I question the sustainability of its expansion model, which largely depends on share dilution to raise funds. On the contrary, Ford, despite having a more leveraged balance sheet, has significantly de-risked its position compared to a decade ago. The company's level of leverage is currently three times lower than during the 2008 financial crisis, reducing the likelihood of a similar catastrophe.

Tesla's high valuation appears to be heavily influenced by its ventures into areas such as autonomous driving, AI robots, and EV semis. However, the company is currently behind Mercedes-Benz in achieving Level 3 autonomous driving and is facing skepticism over the feasibility of its AI and EV semis projects.

In terms of revenue growth, Ford is not far behind Tesla. What's more, Ford trades at a considerable discount, and with new EVs, hybrids, F-150s, and Broncos offerings generating excitement, Ford could potentially outperform Tesla in the long term. There are concerns, such as Ford's high recall numbers, which point to possible quality control issues. Despite these, if I had to choose, I'd favor Ford, given its higher earnings yield and exciting future prospects. However, this does not suggest Tesla should be disregarded altogether. Each investment requires careful consideration of an individual's risk tolerance and investment strategy.

  • 73227451 : Because they cut prices on their vehicles plus the losses from twitter so margins are being squeezed

  • D Blaine : CHANGE the ‘number colors.’ Green numbers should be (+) while red numbers should be (-).
