Spent some time during the long weekend reading through some data. While the US-Iran deal isn't finalized yet, the Brent crude price has come down from the USD100–110/bbl level to USD91.88 on Friday.
What caught my eye more is that the jet fuel price has come down significantly from the USD200/bbl level in April to the current USD127/bbl level. The spread has dropped significantly from USD100/bbl to merely USD36/bbl on Friday.

The Australian market looks set to open lower, with ASX 200 futures down 0.74% as Wall Street closed mixed ahead of a wave of heavyweight earnings, with major indexes flat on Wednesday. Wall Street capped a huge global sharemarket rally over the past 24 hours, driven by a ceasefire to the Iran war and drop in the oil price. Echoing yesterday's Australian market gains of 2.55%, US markets posted their best session in recent memory, with the Dow gaining 2.85%, the S&P 500 rising 2.51%, and the Nasdaq adding 2.80%. In Germany, Taiwan and Japan the major sharemarket indicies gained more than 5%.
