10baggerbamm OP someoneXsomewhere : it's very difficult because when you see it down open a 400 points on the NASDAQ and then within a few minutes you see 100 point recovery a lot of stocks just moved $1.52 some a little bit more and your real tempted to buy but you need to understand there's limit orders that are just above the market from institutions that will be selling any upward movement so you're trying to catch that proverbial falling knife right now because technically most stocks have broken critical levels of support and if you are capable of entering an order and day trading something it has more to do with being lucky than good right now
it's best to kind of take a pause sit back let the market do its thing sit on cash if you sell puts cell deep out of the market sell 20% 30% lower than the market and don't go out 6 months go out a month maximum 2 months end of December and that way you've got a hedge you picked up a little bit of money if the market a road significantly you're going to get put the stocks dramatically lower
