Buy BBBY stock to Huat Big Big?

On today's topic, we will be discussing on how to gain useful insights into market sentiment by using the short sale data.

For this, we will focus on one particular stock: Bed Bath & Beyond Inc ( $Bed Bath & Beyond Inc(BBBY.US)$ ).

Here, I have extracted some 'Daily Short Volume' data for Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.

The values on the left side shows the 'Total Short Volume', while the values on the right side shows the 'Closing Price (US$)'.
The gray color line represents the 'Closing Price (US$)' trend.
The blue color bar represents the 'NASDAQ Short Volume', while the cyan color bar represents the 'NYSE Short Volume'.

Notice that there is a period of price stability before each unusual high volume of short selling, which result in more than 20% increase in stock price.
Examples:
39.83% stock price increase on 8 Aug 2022 after a period of stable price movement (shown in the 1st picture)
34.18% stock price increase on 3 Jul 2022 after a period of stable price movement (shown in the 2nd picture)

Thus, we might be able to see BBBY stock price moving up within the next month after a period of stable stock price.

So, which value of 'Daily Short Volume' data do you focus more? You may choose more than one.
