Grab drivers are earning comfortably even without incentives until 40% of them choose not to drive during peak period

Interesting information from the ground. 30 to 40% of existing Grab driver rather not pick up passengers during peak hours, despite having insane surge charges, because they are earning comfortably enough to be able to choose enjoyment over income.
Grab and all their competitors aren’t giving out crazy incentives to incentivise driver to drive more, so the days of earning $10k a month driving GRAB is no more. Even so Grab driver are earning comfortably even without incentive, so much so that people are leaving the corporate rat race to drive for Grab so that they can have more free time while earning comfortably.
Maybe we should start a part time hustle as a GRAB driver ah, earn from Grab to buy $Grab Holdings(GRAB.US)$ hahahahahahaha
