U.S. FDA approves a booster shot of Pfizer/BNT for 12-15 year olds

On Monday, the U.S. FDA announced that the $Pfizer(PFE.US)$/BNT booster vaccination age will be reduced to 12 years old, and at the same time, immune-deficient children 5-11 years old will be allowed to receive the booster shot of the vaccine. The agency stated that the decision made reference to the vaccination data of children of the same age in Israel. In addition, the U.S. FDA also announced that the interval between the booster shots will be reduced from six months to five months to better respond to the ravages of Obi-Cron virus.
