How to Trade Crypto on moomoo
Step 1: Open a Crypto Account
Before you start, please remember to update the app to the latest version.
How to activate after updating:
Path 1: Go to the cryptocurrency page, tap on "Trade", select "Crypto". Then confirm your tax information and read the risk disclosure carefully. Finally, tap on "Submit" to submit your application. The process will take 3-5 minutes to complete.

Path 2: Go to “Accounts” > “More” > "Trading Permission" to start the process.

Note: Currently, Moomoo Crypto Inc. restricts crypto account opening to selected users who are US tax residents and reside in supported states.
Step 2: Transfer Funds
You can use the funds transfer function to transfer cash between crypto accounts and securities accounts.
Go to "Accounts" > Select your crypto account > "Transfers" > Enter Amount. Only USD can be used to buy crypto on moomoo US.

Step 3: Start Trading
After completing the above steps, return to the detailed quotes page and click on "Trade" again.

Alternatively, you may go to your crypto account> Click on "Trade"> Enter the cryptocurrency symbol to start trading.

What cryptocurrency pairs can I trade?
You can trade 50+ cryptocurrencies, including major coins like BTC, ETH, BCH, XRP, DOT, ADA, and meme coins like PEPE, DOGE, and TRUMP.
Navigate to Market> Crypto to view all available cryptocurrencies.

Trading Rules:
Trading Hours: Crypto is available to trade 24/7, including weekends and holidays, except for brief maintenance periods between 5:00 PM–5:05 PM ET.
Order types: Only Limit orders. Orders remain valid until fully filled or cancelled.
Trading Fees: Spot trading fees as low as 0.49%, with $0 deposit/withdrawal fees. You can view detailed fee information in Accounts page> Your Crypto Account >"More" > "My Fees".

Note: User access to Crypto Trading will be enabled progressively from May 26th.
