VinFast, a Vietnamese electric car manufacturer, is expanding into Asia with its Indian factory starting production ahead of schedule.
Zhiting Finance learned that VinFast, the Vietnamese electric auto manufacturers, is pushing for expansion in Asia, seeming unaffected by the slowdown in global demand for electric autos and the lukewarm start of its foray into the US market. On Wednesday, VinFast founder Pham Nhat Vuong said that the company expects its Indian factory to start production in the first half of next year, six months ahead of schedule; the company will also begin building its Indonesia factory in the next two months. Despite the company's effort to establish a foothold in the fiercely competitive electric auto market, it still has ambitious plans.
