[FISCO Select Stocks] [Material Stock] THK <6481> 6931 yen (as of May 11) specializes in linear motion guidance equipment and other mechanical components as well as mechatronics-related products. The company has upwardly revised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026. Operating profit is projected at 31 billion yen (2.1 times the previous fiscal year), representing an increase of approximately 19% from the prior forecast. Orders for industrial equipment both domestically and internationally are progressing at levels exceeding initial expectations. Additionally, the first-quarter financial results announced concurrently reported an operating profit of 7.62 billion yen (4.6 times the same period last year).

In today’s Tokyo market, Fuso Chemical <4368>, which announced a medium-term management plan with an operating profit increase of 16.1% in the previous fiscal year and a forecast of a 28.9% increase for the current fiscal year, along with another company forecasting a 16.1% increase last fiscal year and a 33.1% increase this fiscal year, stood out.
