How do I receive the principal payment at maturity

1. How do I receive the principal payment at maturity?

Generally, the principal amount at maturity will be automatically credited to your account within one week after the maturity date.

2. How much money will I receive when the bond matures?

The principal payment is equal to the nominal value of your position on the maturity date. The principal amount and the last coupon payment will be credited to your account separately when the bond matures.

3. Will Moomoo SG withhold tax on the principal payment?

The principal payment is not subject to withholding. Clients should pay taxes on their own as needed.

4. Can a bond be traded as it approaches maturity?

The liquidity of a bond will gradually decrease as it approaches maturity. Bonds approaching maturity may become unavailable for trading due to insufficient liquidity.
