What Should I Do After Initiating a Transfer from a Third-Party Bank Account

We don't accept funds transferred from a third-party bank account. If you initiate a transfer from someone else's bank account, you can choose to: 1) return the funds to the payer's bank account; 2) deposit the funds into the payer's moomoo SG universal account.


1. Return funds to payer's bank account

1) In the moomoo app, go to Trade > Accounts > Transfers > Deposit > Bank Transfer to access the beneficiary details page, and tap drop us a message at the bottom of the page

2) Tap Someone else's bank account

3) Tap Return to the payer's bank account

4)  Enter transfer details and upload proof of payment, Then, tap Next

5)  Enter payer's bank account details for the purpose of refund. Then, upload proof of bank account

6) Tap "Submit"

Upon your request, we will complete the refund within 30 days after receiving your funds.


2. Deposit funds into payer's moomoo SG universal account

If the payer has an account with moomoo SG, you can choose to deposit the funds into the payer's moomoo SG universal account.

1) In the moomoo app, go to Accounts > Transfers > Deposit > Bank Transfer to access the beneficiary details page, and tap "drop us a message" on the bottom of the page

2) Tap "Someone else's bank account"

3) Tap "Deposit to the payer's moomoo account"

Enter transfer details and upload proof of payment

5) Enter the moomoo ID of the payer's moomoo SG universal account

6) Tap "Submit"

Upon your request, we will deposit the funds into the specified moomoo account within 1-2 business days after necessary verification.
