China Olympic Home (01538.HK) announced that Qichang International Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder, has purchased a total of 11.37 million shares of the company on the market between November 30 and December 17, 2021, with a total consideration of HK $6.64988 million.
After the above acquisition and as of the date of the announcement, the number of shares held by Qichang increased from 462.158 million shares (equivalent to approximately 54.08 per cent of the company's issued share capital) to 473.528 million shares (equivalent to about 55.41 per cent of the issued share capital). Qichang is 40% owned by Xuji Limited, while Xuji Limited is owned by the Chairman of the Board, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Liu Jian, and Hilton Assets (PTC) Limited (as trustee of Liu Family Trust), which owns 15% and 85% respectively. Therefore, Mr. Liu is deemed to be interested in all 473.528 million shares held by Qichang.
