Zhitong Financial APP News, Wanbang Investment (00158) announced its comprehensive results for the year ended September 30, 2021, with an income of about HK $160 million, down 21.3% from last year. Net profit was HK $66.863 million, compared with a net loss of about HK $1.185 billion in the same period last year; earnings per share were HK $2.67, with a proposed final dividend of HK $1.80 per share.
The profit mainly comes from the reduction of fair value loss of investment property this year, the announcement said. The fair value loss of investment properties for the year was HK $16.3 million, while the fair value loss of 2020 yuan investment properties was HK $1.317 billion. Excluding the impact of changes in the fair value of investment properties, the operating profit from the leasing business fell from HK $157 million to HK $99.2 million, down 36.9% from last year.
