Koninklijke DSM NV said Monday that it has agreed to acquire Norwegian company Vestkorn Milling for an enterprise value of 65 million euros ($73.6 million).
The Dutch nutrition-and-materials group said Vestkorn Milling is one of Europe's leading producers of pea- and bean-derived ingredients for plant-based protein products, and that its acquisition will help it build an alternative protein business.
The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021.
