This time, the track record of introducing Databricks, the track record of supporting the use of customers who have introduced it, and the number of qualified Databricks personnel were highly evaluated, and Elite certification was obtained.
Regarding the number of experts, NTT DATA has 9 partner champions (as of 2024/5), the largest number of Japanese companies, including employees selected as the “APJ Partner Champion of the Year.”

Databricks is a company providing an open integrated platform “data intelligence platform” for data and AI that combines the strengths of both data warehouses and data lakes.
The strength of the company's platform is that it can process beta-byte data and large amounts of machine learning models in real time, and that it can simplify data management and machine learning lifecycles, and customer companies can analyze all kinds of data in a short time by utilizing BI (Business Intelligence) tools and AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Since signing a partnership agreement in May 2021, NTT DATA has provided a “data intelligence platform,” which is a next-generation data analysis platform, to many customer companies.

About future initiatives

NTT DATA makes full use of the strengths of Databricks and supports the modernization of data platforms and the strengthening of data governance from a system perspective. We will prepare a wide range of data utilization services based on DataBricks, such as data steward support and MLOps support, and work together with customers to promote “democratization of data and AI.”

Furthermore, by customizing the generative AI utilization and development function “Lakehouse AI” provided by Databricks independently to customer companies, it responds to a wide variety of generative AI needs. We can use and combine a wide variety of LLMs, from lightweight LLMs such as the OSS LLM “DBRX” of Databricks and “tsuzumi” independently developed by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation to SaaS-type LLMs, and we will co-create new business value for our customers.
