Jinwu Financial News | SPDB International said that the capital flow brought about by the current Hang Seng Index quarterly inspection is small, and the impact on the overall market is expected to be relatively limited. We can pay attention to short-term trading opportunities brought about by individual stocks due to changes in weight. Recently, with the continued return of foreign capital and the release of a new round of real estate support policies, market sentiment has clearly heated up, which is conducive to the short-term improvement of the index's performance.
According to the bank's estimates, the Hang Seng Index, State-owned Enterprises and Hang Seng Technology Index will bring in two-way capital flows of approximately HK$11.16 billion, $2.7 billion and HK$24.59 billion respectively, totaling HK$38.45 billion. The bank expects newly added stocks, driven by new capital inflows, to obtain excess income before the quarterly inspection results come into effect. According to the bank's forecast, before the quarterly inspection results take effect, among the newly added stocks, BYD Electronics expects a net inflow of HK$650 million, while Zijin Mining expects a net inflow of HK$590 million. Excluding stocks, Country Garden Services is expected to have a net outflow of HK$290 million, and Xinyi Solar expects a net outflow of HK$160 million. Among the existing constituent stocks of the three major indices, Ideal Auto (02015) is expected to have the largest net inflow, with an estimated net inflow of about HK$5.31 billion. Tencent Holdings (00700) and Meituan (03690) are expected to have a net outflow of around HK$6.86 billion/ HK$3.81 billion.
The Hong Kong Stock Connect stock pool will also be adjusted according to changes in the Hang Seng Composite Index. Sagiteng Juchuang (02498), a new addition to the Hang Seng Composite Index, is expected to be included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect on June 11.
