Kyoto Financial Group, Inc. (President and CEO: Nobuhiro Doi; hereafter, “Kyoto FG”), NTT Business Solutions Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Taizo Kitayama; hereafter, “NTT Business Solutions”), and NTT DATA, Inc. (President and CEO: Hiroshi Sasaki; hereinafter “NTT DATA”) will collaborate for the purpose of improving greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculation targeting Kyoto FG investors .
1. Background
Based on the management philosophy of “serving the prosperity of local communities - leading regional growth and creating the future together -” Kyoto Financial Group strives to improve long-term and sustainable corporate value by addressing local social and environmental issues, and is contributing to the sustainable development of local communities. Recently, as one of the efforts aimed at realizing a decarbonized society, tens of thousands of companies have invested and financed emissionsNote 1“C-Turtle” provided by NTT DATA for calculation purposes “FE” will be introduced through NTT Business Solutions.
2. Content
“C-Turtle “FE” is the international standard “PCAF” for financial institutionsNote 2GHG visualization solution “C-Turtle” that supports visualization of GHG emissions at investment and loan companies by estimating emissions from financial data, etc. held by financial institutions in accordance with “standards”Note 3This is a new service from”.
In addition, we have adopted a “total emissions allocation system” that can incorporate the GHG reduction efforts of suppliers as an effect of reducing the company's Scope3 emissions, and CDPNote 4Actual measured values (primary data) of corporate emissions are held on the platform through cooperation with and market research using NTT DATA, so by replacing estimated values with actual measured values, it is possible to calculate using high score data even within the 5 levels of data quality determined by PCAF.

3. Future Initiatives
Going forward, Kyoto Financial Group will work with NTT Business Solutions and NTT DATA to decarbonize the region.
