The Nikkei Average, which has plummeted, cannot be said to have stopped falling, but the situation in the Middle East seems to have calmed down once. I also feel like Japanese stocks are looking for materials leading to a rebound. Will it still be the US economy and interest rates that decide whether or not there will be a rebound...

Once again, my name is Kyusuke Limited, and I'm writing the stock & cat blog “Profitable Stock Information “Cat Husband's Stock Knows No Ceiling”.

It's pretty hard to get your hands on a market with high volatility. The depreciation of the yen progressed all at once to the 158 yen level with respect to the dollar to yen exchange. In addition to the view that the Japanese government will not be able to step in, it seems that buying into US dollars has accelerated due to predictions that US inflation will be prolonged.

The stock market received rapid adjustments in the midst of a medium- to long-term upward trend, and investors who missed their intention to rebound thereafter may be busy cutting losses. In particular, personal favorite theme stocks, material stocks, etc. are falling when unpaid credit purchases have increased, so I think adjustments will be slightly prolonged. Even if I search for materials that can overcome this predicament, there is no sign that good news will come out of the Kishida administration or the Bank of Japan.

When the situation is deteriorating, I would like to defensively select stocks that form solid charts or stocks that are less likely to respond to the overall trend. If bad news runs out, it is likely that investors' minds will gradually improve. Until then, it seems like it will be time to put up with it so as not to reduce my assets.

If you think about it the other way around, it's also an opportunity to pick up excellent stocks at low prices when they are widely sold. While maintaining a cautious attitude so as not to take too many risks, I would like to keep a close eye on the timing of the transition to a bull market that will come someday. This time, I picked up topical stocks with strong charts even in a situation where volatility is increasing.

Secure <4264>, which provides corporate entrance/exit management and surveillance camera systems, moved from the bottom price range after it was announced that it would develop a new solution to realize labor-saving security and labor-saving operations using the NVIDIA Metropolis platform. The company is participating in the NVIDIA partner network, and we are monitoring whether good news will come out in the future...

Neo Japan <3921>, which develops and sells the groupware software “Desknet's NEO,” has also recently moved the chart (daily chart). Price revisions for the company's services have been well received, and it is expected that the fiscal year ending 25/1 will also hit record highs.

Nikon <7731>, a major single-lens reflex camera company, seems to have had an influx of speculative purchases because the name of the English investment fund Silchester International Investors was mentioned in the mass ownership report. The results up to this point have been decent, but I'd like to check the financial results announcement on 5/9.

Izutsuya <8260>, which operates department stores based in Kitakyushu, has successfully rounded down the most recent chart (daily chart). Even after surpassing the high price of 444 yen in August last year, PER and PBR are still at a bargain level. There is also speculation about Kyushu Silicon Island, and the book value of land and buildings in Kokura owned by the company is expected to be high in terms of stock value on an asset basis. There are also speculations about things related to Kyushu Silicon Island and inbound tourism.

PLANT <7646>, which announced an upward revision in conjunction with the financial results on 4/25, is also undervalued by 1 times PBR. The company, which operates discount stores based in Hokuriku, stands out for its steadiness in the chart even when the external environment is not good. Will the steady upward trend continue as it is?

The last one is Steel Construction (1815), which was revised upward on 4/23. The medium-term management plan was also announced on the same day, and it seems that it was well received as well. Stock prices have updated year-to-date highs after the announcement of upward revisions, and monitoring is ongoing to see how far lower prices will be rounded up. The financial results are due on 5/14.

Well, I've been talking a bit long, but my blog introduces such “individual stocks and theme stocks that are strong now.” If you have free time, please take a look. We look forward to seeing you with our beloved cat “Al.”
