One China Risun Group Insider Raised Their Stake In The Previous Year

Simply Wall St ·  Apr 29 19:36

Insiders were net buyers of China Risun Group Limited's (HKG:1907 ) stock during the past year. That is, insiders bought more stock than they sold.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At China Risun Group

The CEO & Chairman Xuegang Yang made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for HK$11m worth of shares at a price of HK$3.54 each. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at above the current price of HK$3.12. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time. We always take careful note of the price insiders pay when purchasing shares. Generally speaking, it catches our eye when an insider has purchased shares at above current prices, as it suggests they believed the shares were worth buying, even at a higher price. Xuegang Yang was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.

Xuegang Yang purchased 21.34m shares over the year. The average price per share was HK$3.39. Does China Risun Group Boast High Insider Ownership?

Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. China Risun Group insiders own about HK$9.9b worth of shares (which is 72% of the company). This kind of significant ownership by insiders does generally increase the chance that the company is run in the interest of all shareholders.
