Japanese ADR (American Depositary Securities) stocks rose in comparison with the Tokyo Stock Exchange (154.64 yen equivalent to 1 dollar), Mitsui Trust <8309>, Dainichito <7912>, Nomura HD <8604>, Sumitomo Corporation <8053>, Hishijisho <8802>, Tokio Marine HD <8766>, Sekisui House <1928>, etc. rose, and there was an overall buying advantage. The Chicago Nikkei 225 futures settlement price is 37,100 yen unchanged from the Osaka intraday ratio.

The US stock market is mixed. The Dow average rose by 211.02 dollars to 37,986.40 dollars, and the NASDAQ closed at 15,282.01, which fell 319.49 points. Sales that were wary of further tension in the Middle East situation, such as Iran arguing that Israel's retaliatory attack against Iran was limited on a limited scale, retreated, and then rose after being close. In addition to continuing buybacks due to a sense of security, Dow remained steady throughout the day with purchases in response to expectations for major corporate financial results. Meanwhile, purchases, which were expected to cut interest rates due to high technology, retreated, and the NASDAQ fell drastically due to the decline in Netflix (NFLX) stocks for video distribution. It ended in a mixed situation.

The dollar and yen rose from 154 yen 46 yen to 154 yen 64 yen in the New York foreign exchange market on the 19th, and closed at 154 yen 63 yen. Iran confirmed the drone attack by Israel, insisted that the attempt was a failure, and since there was no damage, concerns about further deterioration of the situation in the Middle East receded, and yen resale became dominant. Furthermore, since President Goolsby of the US Chicago Federal Bank, known as the dove faction, suggested that further time was necessary before interest rate cuts since progress surrounding inflation had stagnated, and suggested the possibility of maintaining high interest rates for a longer period of time than expected, dollar purchases also strengthened. The euro dollar rose to 1.0677 dollars, then fell to 1.0640 dollars, and closed at 1.0654 dollars.

The NY crude oil futures 5-month limit on the 19th was strong (NYMEX crude oil 5-month closing price: 83.14 ↑ 0.41).
