Jiantao Laminate (01888) rose more than 11%. As of press release, it rose 10.71% to HK$6.41, with a turnover of HK$63.2449 million.

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Jiantao Laminated Board (01888) rose by more than 11%. As of press release, it had risen 10.71% to HK$6.41, with a turnover of HK$63.244,900.

According to the news, the domestic copper-clad plate market recently ushered in a wave of price increases. Among them, Jiantao Laminate issued a price increase letter on March 19, stating that due to the sharp rise in copper prices, due to cost pressure, the company increased the price of all materials by 10 yuan/sheet, and the price increase is expected to be 5%-10%. According to industry sources, the recent rise in copper prices is one of the main reasons why copper-clad plates open this round of price increases. Furthermore, many interviewees revealed that compared to last year's sluggish market, downstream demand for copper clad plates has gradually improved, but it is still difficult to determine when the actual inflection point will arrive.

Dahua Jixian's recent research report pointed out that the net profit of Jiantao Laminate in the second half of last year increased 15% to HK$485 million compared to the first half of the year, which is slightly higher than the SWP guidelines. The company's copper clad plate (CCL) sales recovered in the second half of last year, but the average price of the product continued to fall, which continued to affect gross profit margin. In the end, gross margin remained the same as in the first half of the year. The bank expects that Jiantao laminated boards will gradually recover this year, and any prudent policy on electronic product/equipment replacement by the government may bring room for improvement in the bank's predictions.
