The Zhitong Finance App learned that wind power stocks broke out in early trading. As of press release, Goldwind Technology (02208) rose 7.24% to HK$3.1; Longyuan Power (00916) rose 4.2% to HK$5.71; Xintian Green Energy (00956) rose 4.05% to HK$3.08; and Dongfang Electric (01072) rose 2.08% to HK$8.35.

According to the news, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Energy Administration, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued the “Notice on Organizing and Implementing the “Thousand Villages to Control the Wind” to promote local development and utilization of wind power in rural areas according to local conditions, help rural revitalization, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of rural energy.

The National Development and Reform Commission issued the “Notice on Organizing and Carrying Out the “Operation to Control the Wind in Thousands of Villages” on April 1, stating that currently, China's wind power is mainly developed on a large scale in the “Three North” regions. As low-wind power generation technology gradually matures, it is increasingly feasible and economical to develop wind power locally in the south-east region. For example, every year, 1,000 villages that meet the conditions are selected for pilot development. According to an estimate of 20,000 kilowatts of installed capacity per village, an additional 20 million kilowatts of wind power can be added per year, and an additional investment of about 100 billion yuan can not only open up new market space for wind power development, but also better play the role of promoting development, expanding investment, and steady growth.
