On March 28, Brilliant Tomorrow (1351.HK) announced the 2023 annual results announcement, indicating that the advertising market picked up during the year, the company actively adjusted its market strategy, and recorded significant growth. During the year, revenue surged 101.2% to about 890 million yuan, and gross profit soared 141.0% to about 85.545 million yuan. Profit changed from last year to a profit of about 22.432 million yuan. Excluding the impact of share-based remuneration and income tax expenses, Huihuang recorded an adjusted net profit of approximately RMB 21.49,000 during the year tomorrow.

Measured on the basis of total transactions, the Group's gross revenue in 2023 reached approximately RMB 1.5 billion, a significant increase of about 96.6% over last year.

According to the announcement, in 2023, Brilliant Tomorrow achieved outstanding results in advertising on media platforms. During the year, the total consumption of about 1.8 billion virtual tokens was recorded through media platforms, an increase of about 121.3% over 2022.

Within the year, Huihuang Tomorrow embedded the AIGC service into its self-developed system and changed its name to LinkBriAI to gradually implement this system into business operations to improve operational efficiency. During the year, the Group's monthly video production capacity reached about 18,750, an increase of about 38.9% over the previous year; the number of ad impressions reached 131.08 billion times a year, a sharp increase of about 84.5% over the previous year.

In response to market changes, Huihuang Tomorrow is actively expanding customers in industries such as finance, e-commerce and leading domestic social media platforms, all of which are strongly developing market segments in the post-pandemic era. The number of new Group customers increased to 357 during the year, a steady increase of about 11.9% over 319 in 2022. The number of repeat customers rapidly increased by about 25.3% from 221 in 2022 to 277.

At the beginning of 2024, OpenAI officially released Sora, a generative AI model. Its powerful video production capabilities have sparked market discussions. The industry believes that it may promote the upgrading and transformation of the content industry and greatly expand the growth space of industry segments such as short video advertising.
