On February 7 | Profit Time (06838.HK), Gelonghui announced that for the year ended December 31, 2023, the Group expects the consolidated net profit recorded this year to fall by about 43% compared to HK$112 million for the year ended 31 December 2022. The main reasons for the estimated profit decline in the current year include: (1) a decline in sales due to weak global demand for luxury goods, smartphones and smart wearables; (2) a reduction in government subsidies; and (3) the absence of surrender income of HK$3.169,000 from major personnel life insurance policies in the same period last year.
