Charles Bobrinskoy (Charles Bobrinskoy), a well-known value investor and vice chairman of investment firm Ariel Investments, said that with the death of Berkshire Hathaway Vice Chairman Munger on Tuesday, the investment community lost a pillar.
He is a “true investment guru,” and Bobrinsky said in an interview shortly after Munger's death on Tuesday, “He is a very important voice in value investing and in all fields of investment.”
“He's a voice against fraud. He is a voice against irrational activity. He's a rational voice. He has been with Warren Buffett throughout the glory days of Berkshire Hathaway,” Bobrinsky added.
Munger died at the age of 99. Buffett praised him for expanding his focus to finding underrated, high-quality companies rather than buying troubled companies for profit.
