The Asian Power Awards are an award hosted by the Singapore-based power industry magazine Asian Power, which awards projects, technology development, products, company managers, etc. that have achieved excellent performance in connection with the power business by field after being examined by experts, and this year marks the 19th year. Of these, in the Innovative Power Technology category, companies that have developed innovative technologies that greatly contribute to the power industry in various countries will receive awards.
“ULTY-V plus” is a device that automatically optimizes fluctuations in fuel input, steam pressure, etc. using artificial intelligence (AI) by connecting to boiler control systems at power plants, etc., and can reduce fuel usage and carbon dioxide emissions. The uniqueness of YIG's technology and implementation record have been highly evaluated, leading to this award. Furthermore, this is the first time that a control device aimed at improving energy efficiency in the field of innovative power generation technology has received the same award. We plan to expand sales of “ULTY-V Plus,” which has a track record of 20 years since commercialization and cultivated technology, in the Southeast Asian market.
YIG is proceeding with the development of a fully autonomous integrated optimization system that includes efficiency improvement technology for peripheral equipment such as thermal power generation, etc., by making full use of ULTY technology and AI technology cultivated so far, and released the successor “ULTY-V plus AT” in August of this year. Going forward, we will continue to respond to user needs and promote product manufacturing for a low-carbon society.
