Options Montage: Music is still playing

Monday had the feel of a down day. Breadth was awful, stocks which had nice runs last week gave a decent chunk of the move back today, it looked like the type of session we are accustomed to seeing with a 70% BULLS reading on the sell signal on our Technical indicator.

There was just one big difference though throughout this rally, preventing a quick healthy washout, rather than just some profit-taking, which was BULLS decided to aggressively rotate funds into big tech again! Sweepers one after the other in the likes of TSLA, AAPL, AMD and sprinkled in some NVDA, they buy those names when they’re feeling bullish while they have a bearish bias, these names become a flight to safety.

So if you enjoy playing them intraday and finding success, the music is still playing over there especially when we see a call-sweeper firing off all day long. The likelihood is, as these names show continued strength, we will also see additional put buying as players protect hefty profits. Just try your best to not overstay your welcome or get caught without a chair when the music finally does stop in these names.

As far as everything else on Monday, no major changes. Sweeper activity was decent as there were a few decent bets in other stuff besides. There were some nice pullbacks in names they were buying last week, so they’re already not far away from being set up, keep an eye out for moomoo options details we provided here in any of those names you may be interested in.
