The Zhitong Finance App learned that Yima International (00585) continued to rise by more than 50%. As of press time, it had risen 55.26% to HK$2.95, with a turnover of HK$1.54 million. It is worth noting that the company's stock price has been rising for six consecutive days, with a cumulative increase of over 700%. Earlier, on August 18, the company's shareholder, Cai Linzhi reduced his holdings of the company by 75 million shares in a liquidated manner, at a price of HK$0.28 million per share, for a total amount of HK$21 million.

The company's main business is still engaged in comprehensive financial services, investment holding, computer imaging and entertainment. Comprehensive financial services include securities brokerage and related financial advisory services, guarantee finance services, asset management services, corporate financing advisory services, debt lending services, securities investment and proprietary trading.

Previously, the company announced its 2023 interim results, with total revenue of HK$32.899 million, a year-on-year decrease of 17%; profit attributable to owners of the company was HK$4,064 million, a year-on-year decrease of 75.55%; and profit of HK0.48 cents per share. According to the announcement, the decrease in profit was mainly due to a decrease of about 29% and 34% respectively in the revenue of the Securities Brokerage and Asset Management Division and the Financing Division during the review period; unrealized losses due to changes in the fair value of investments classified as holding and trading of listed equity capital increased from about HK$2 million in the previous period to about HK$7 million in the review period; and impairment provisions confirmed twice as much for margin loans receivable during the review period.
