Zhitong Financial APP News, Huake Capital (01140) issued an announcement that the company's existing authorized share capital is HK $2 billion, divided into 20 billion common shares of HK $0.10 each, of which 10.52 billion shares have been issued. As at the date of this announcement, the option granted under the Company's share option Scheme with the right to subscribe for a total of 184 million shares has not been exercised.
In order to give the company greater flexibility in raising capital, thereby promoting future business growth, the Board proposes to increase the authorized share capital of the company to HK $5 billion, divided into 50 billion shares, by adding an additional 30 billion shares. The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares in all respects after the issue. The increase in authorized share capital shall be subject to the approval of the shareholders by ordinary resolution at the EGM.
The Board proposes to change the English name of the company from "Wealt hki ng In ve stments Limited" to "Wealthink AI-Innovation Capital Limited" and to adopt "Huake Intelligent Investment Company Limited" as the Chinese name of the company to replace its current Chinese name "Huake Capital Limited".
