Simply Wall St ·  Jul 12, 2023 18:00

Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Time Watch Investments Limited (HKG:2033) Chairman & CEO, Koon Ming Tung, recently bought HK$503k worth of stock, for HK$0.34 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Time Watch Investments

Notably, that recent purchase by Koon Ming Tung is the biggest insider purchase of Time Watch Investments shares that we've seen in the last year. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is HK$0.36. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for Time Watch Investments share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Koon Ming Tung was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
