Unrivaled Brands Expands California Retail Footprint

Unrivaled Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:UNRV), which operates in California, held the grand opening of its previously closed San Leandro retail dispensary on Saturday, Feb 4. The new store is located at 1915 Fairway Dr in San Leandro.

Ascend Opens Its First Marijuana Outlet Dispensary In MA

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. (CSE:AAWH) (OTCQX:AAWH) announced the grand opening of its Ascend New Bedford adult-use cannabis outlet dispensary, located at 115 Coggeshall St.

The company's new store features 5,200 square feet of floor space and will exclusively sell adult-use cannabis, offering Ascend's full menu of flower, edibles, vapes and concentrates.

New Bedford is Ascend's first outlet dispensary in Massachusetts and its third overall, following the successful launch of two outlet locations in Pennsylvania.

"Since the opening of our first retail dispensary, Ascend has learned that consumers are willing to travel for the chance to purchase high-caliber products at everyday affordable prices," said Frank Perullo, the company's president, co-founder and interim co-CEO.

Mint's Cannabis Consumption Park Coming To Phoenix

Phoenix-based Mint plans to set up a 4,800-square-foot "Mint Mall" from Friday, Feb 10 through Sunday, Feb 12 at the Cannabis Consumption Park near State Farm Stadium at 2209 N. 99th Ave. in Phoenix, Arizona.

The shop will be open to adults over 21. Highlights will include infused foods, cannabis vendors with complimentary samples, live musical performances, comedy skits, and celebrity appearances, to name a few.

"Having a cannabis-friendly celebration at the nation's biggest sporting event of the year is a big testament to how far our industry has evolved in a relatively short time," said Eivan Shahara, co-founder and CEO of Mint Cannabis. "Our large setup will be a reflection of our five dispensaries in the Valley, where our expert budtenders cater to the needs of medical patients, experienced recreational users, and curious first-timers."
