The company's loss per diluted share stood at 0.20 yuan for the interim period, whereas the company had recorded earnings of 25.12 yuan per diluted share in 2021 first half.
The revenue of the company increased slightly in the six months ended June 30 to 742.8 million yuan from 707.8 million yuan the previous year.
The loss in earnings is mainly attributable to the impacts of increasing raw materials costs and additional worker compensation amid the COVID-19 spread, as well as an increase in additional impairment provisions under the expected credit loss model, according to the company.
